— Clinical skills in Electronic Health Records (“EHR”) is essential for today’s nurses. Lippincott’s DocuCare is an online EHR simulator for nursing students to learn and practice using over 150 patient scenarios. I worked closely with LWW Product Owners to develop interactive prototypes for testing with students and nursing instructors. We were able to design an interface that organized the complex user flows necessary for maintaining patient charts in this safe EHR environment.

— To integrate LWW’s vast content library we also developed branded functionality called SmartSense. This enabled users to connect the simulation directly to content in their textbooks. SmartSense was one of many tools we developed that aimed to bridge the gap between the classroom and the working world of healthcare.
